What is the Learning Platform Project?

A learning platform is an integrated set of interactive online services that provide teachers, learners, and others involved in education with information, tools and resources to support and enhance educational delivery and management.
The term learning platform also includes the personal learning environment and physical learning environment.

It is framework of tools that work seamlessly together to deliver a student centric learning experience by unifying educational theory & practice, technology and content. The core of this is the Learning Management system (currently Blackboard).

We are reviewing our learning platform to ensure it fits the learning and teaching needs of Te Herenga Waka into the future. We are taking this opportunity to define how we want to teach and what we need for an excellent global student experience.
